Johnny J. Salinas Jr. is our Founder and Licensed Funeral Director for Salinas Funeral Home. Johnny started his career in the funeral service at the age of 17 after losing his sister Deborah Lynn Salinas in a tragic car accident. He began working in the funeral profession as a funeral attendant. He has always had the compassion to serve families. He later was given the opportunity to work as an administrator and received his license to sell prepaid funeral arrangements. It was after that time, Johnny decided to become a Funeral Director and help families in their difficult time. He studied at Commonwealth Institute of Funeral Service where he graduated top of his class with Honors in December 2010 and later received his license as a Funeral Director. He has worked at firms as a funeral director where later he was given the opportunity to become a General Manager of 3 funeral homes in Brownsville. Johnny has 5 beautiful children: Jaelyn Giselle, Madalynn Grace, Raelynn Faith, Debralynn Jade Salinas & Johnny Joe Salinas III. On his free time he enjoys taking trips with his family. Isabel M. Salinas is our Provisional Funeral Director at Salinas Funeral Home of Elsa, Brownsville & Weslaco. Isabel is a compassionate person who loves to help out families. She understands that each family is unique and has different request. These request are to the utmost importance to her. Mrs. Isabel Salinas is the wife of Johnny J. Salinas Jr. and together they have 5 beautiful children Jaelyn Giselle Salinas, Madalynn Grace Salinas , Raelynn Faith Salinas, Debralynn Jade Salinas & Johnny Joe Salinas III.

Mr. Johnny J. Salinas Sr. is one of our owners at Salinas Funeral Homes. Johnny Salinas Sr. has been married to Aurora M. Salinas for 33 years and has 6 wonderful children, Johnny, Deborah, Jeremiah, Josie, Prince and Jaiden. Johnny lost his 15 year old daughter, Deborah to a tragic car accident in 2006 and identifies with families that have lost a loved one.


Mr. Salinas has been in the transportation business for over 31 years and enjoys trips. On his spare time he helps around the funeral home keeping our facility up to date. He is proud to be an owner of Salinas Funeral Home, where his family serves grieving families during their difficult time.

Aurora M. Salinas is our owner and Pre-Need Specialist for Salinas Funeral Home. Aurora has been married to Johnny Joe Salinas for 33 years and has 6 wonderful children, Johnny, Deborah, Jeremiah, Josie, Prince and Jaiden. Aurora lost her 15 year old daughter, Deborah to a tragic car accident in 2006 and identifies with families that have lost a loved one. Aurora was a migrant worker for many years and in 1992 she decided to better herself and attend college. Aurora attended the University of Pan American in Edinburg, Tx and graduated with a Bachelors in Criminal Justice in 1998. In 2002, Aurora worked for the Weslaco Police Department as an ID technician. After a few years, she was given the opportunity to work for Child Protective Services for 10 years and enjoyed working with families and different entities such as law enforcement, judges, attorneys, ect. She is compassionate about helping and assisting families in any way she can. On 2010, Mr. and Mrs. Salinas and their son Johnny opened up Royal Star Limousine Service in Weslaco, TX. and she has been managing the business for 9 years. Aurora is honored to continue her service to families now at Salinas Funeral Home.

Jeremiah Luke Salinas is son of Mr. Johnny Salinas Sr. and Mrs. Aurora Salinas. Jeremiah has been helping our firms from the beginning of our service to the community. He is a compassionate individual that understands that each family is unique and has different needs. These needs are to the utmost importance to him. Jeremiah will be attending the Commonwealth Institute of Funeral Service as he graduates from Weslaco High School in 2023.

Paula Gonzalez is our Family Service Counselor Manager at Salinas Funeral Home of Brownsville and our General Manager at Salinas Funeral Homes assisting families on planning ahead in their funeral arrangements. She is a compassionate person who is always willing to help out. Paula has over 7 years of experience and is very knowledgeable in guiding families on how to correctly plan ahead. Angie Campos is one of our compassionate funeral director at Salinas Funeral Homes. She has been in the funeral industry for over 20 years, She first started her career working as a sales manager for SCI Cemeteries for over 6 years. She then went to work to as an office administrator when she then decided to become a funeral director. She did her studies at the Commonwealth Institute of Funeral Service where she graduated with honors and at the top of her class. Angie is a caring, compassionate and professional individual who loves to help families. Angie's parents are the late Gilberto Campos Sr. and Delicia Campos. She has 5 siblings and numerous nieces and nephews. She loves spending times with her family,

Belinda Palomo is our office administrator for Salinas Funeral Homes. Belinda is a Licensed Pre-Need Agent for the State of Texas. She committed her time and efforts in serving her community for almost 18 years. Belinda is a loving and compassionate person and is here to help and serve the families as our office administrator.

Valerie Roman is our Funeral Home Administrator at Salinas Funeral Home of Elsa assisting families create an everlasting memory in all our personalized stationary items and tribute videos. She is a compassionate person who is always willing to help out. Valerie is also our After Care Specialist and Pre Need agent for our funeral home. She is happy to be part of our team helping families during their difficult time.

Veronica Medrano joined our team as Funeral Attendant at Salinas Funeral Home in March 2020 assisting families during visitations and funerals. She is a compassionate person who is always willing to help out. She is currently seeking her Funeral Directors license with Commonwealth Institute of Funeral Service and will be joining our Funeral Directors team in the future.
