Obituary

Elsa- Victor Vargas, 88, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, May 19, 2022 at McAllen Medical Center.

He was born on July 26, 1933 to Mr. Anacleto Vargas and Mrs. Inocencia B. Vargas in La Blanca, Texas.

Mr. Vargas is preceded in death by his parents; his brothers: Antonio Vargas, Narciso Vargas, Margarito Vargas; his sister: Bertha Vargas.

Left to cherish his memories are his wife, Antonia P. Vargas; his sons, Pedro (Erica) Vargas, Martin (Michelle) Vargas; his daughters, Maria Carmen (Luis) Moreno, Alicia (Rolando) Robles, Isabel Gomez, Guadalupe Hernandez; 16 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.

Visitation for Mr. Victor Vargas is scheduled for Friday, May 20, 2022 from 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm with a Holy Rosary at 6:00 pm at Salinas Funeral Home- Chapel of the Heavens in Elsa. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, May 21, 2022 at 8:00 am at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Elsa. Interment will follow at Highland Memorial Park in Weslaco.

Funeral Services have been entrusted to Salinas Funeral Home of Elsa.
