Tomas Bermudez

Brownsville - Tomas Bermudez, 67, passed away Tuesday, May 3, 2022 at Valley Regional Medical Center.

Mr. Bermudez was born in Brownsville, Texas, son of Antonio Bermudez and Anita Lopez Bermudez. He is preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Defina Lopez and Maria Bermudez Garcia.

Left to cherish his memories are his wife, Claudia Melchor Bermudez; children, Tomas "Tommy" Bermudez Jr., Kimberly Bermudez, Priscilla Villanueva (Ruben), Marlyn Melchor (J.J.), Victor Hugo Melchor Jr.; brother, Lucio L. Bermudez. Also surviving him are his grandchildren, Daniela Itzel Bermudez, Maritza Alejandra Garcia, Ruben Garcia Jr., Kelly J. Gonzalez.

Visitation will be held on Monday, May 9, 2022 from 1:00 pm to 8:00 pm with a rosary at 6:00 pm at Salinas Funeral Home-Chapel of the Angels in Brownsville. Funeral mass is scheduled for Tuesday, May 10, 2022 at 1:00 pm at St. Eugene de Mazenod Catholic Church in Brownsville. Interment will follow at Guillen Community Cemetery.

Funeral services have been entrusted to Salinas Funeral Home in Brownsville.
