Edcouch- Seferino Montes, 85, passed away on Friday, October 30, 2020, at Weslaco Nursing and Rehab Center.
He was born on August 26, 1935, to Mr. Arnulfo Montes & Mrs. Felipa Ybarra Montes in Mexico.
Mr. Montes is preceded in death by his parents.
Left to cherish his memories is his wife: Arabela Montes; his sons: Ruven (Teresita) Montes, Arnulfo (Angie) Montes, Roel (Jennifer) Montes, Seferino (Kelly) Montes, Roel Montes Jr.; his daughters: Rosalinda (Israel Jr.) Saldivar, Brandie (Chad) Martin, Arabela Montes; his brothers: Agustin Montes, Angel Montes, Pastor Montes, Tomas Montes, Carlos Montes, Gilberto Montes; his sisters: Jovita Montes; 27 grandchildren and 29 great-grandchildren.
Visitation for Mrs. Seferino Montes is scheduled for Wednesday, November 4, 2020, from 2:00 pm to 8:00 pm with a Holy Rosary at 7:00 pm at Salinas Funeral Home- Chapel of the Heavens in Elsa. Cremation will take place at a later date.
Funeral Services have been entrusted under the care of Salinas Funeral Home of Elsa.
