Romualda Acero

Brownsville - Romualda Acero, 58, passed away Wednesday, March 29, 2023 at Valley Regional Medical Center.

Mrs. Acero was born April 27, 1964 in Matamoros, Tamaulipas, Mexico, daughter of Antonio Diaz and Maria Araguz. She is preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Antonio Diaz and Armando Diaz.

Left to cherish her memories are her husband, Carlos Acero; her children, Rommy Acero, Carlos Acero Jr., Vanessa Acero, Israel Acero, Eliezer Acero, Gerson Acero, Jared Acero; brothers, Rogelio Padron, Jaime Diaz, Francisco Diaz; sisters, Araceli De Leon, Norma Diaz and Alma Rios. Also surviving her are 5 grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 5, 2023 from 3:00 pm to 9:00 pm with a prayer service at 7:00 pm at Salinas Funeral Home - Chapel of the Heavens in Brownsville. Funeral chapel service is scheduled for Thursday, April 6, 2023 at 10:00 am with interment to follow at 11:00 am at Guillen Community Cemetery.

Funeral services have been entrusted to Salinas Funeral Home in Brownsville.
