Brownsville - Maria del Carmen Margenau, 56, passed away Wednesday, June 30, 2021 at Valley Baptist Medical Center.
Mrs. Margenau was born March 2, 1965 in Brownsville, Texas daughter of Moises Garcia and Felicitas Mendoza Garcia. She is preceded in death by her parents and a brother Moises Garcia Jr.
Left to cherish her memories are her husband, Johnny Eugene Margenau Sr., children: Jenilee G. Margenau, Jamie Margenau, Joanna Margenau, Janice Margenau, Jennifer Margenau, Jalisa Margenau, Johnny E. Margenau Jr., Jonathan G. Margenau; brothers, Armando Garcia, Henry Garcia, Alfredo Garcia and her sister, Leticia Garcia. Also surviving her are 21 grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 7, 2021 from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Salinas Funeral Home-Chapel of the Heavens in Brownsville. As per her wishes, she will be cremated at a later date.
Funeral services have been entrusted to Salinas Funeral Home in Brownsville.
