Jose Zapata

Elsa- Jose Zapata, 86, passed away on Thursday, October 14, 2021 at Edinburg Regional Medical Center in Edinburg.

Mr. Zapata was born on September 21, 1935 to Mr. Benancio Zapata and Mrs. Patricia Zapata in Mexico.

He is preceded in death by his Loving Wife Trinidad Fernandez Zapata; his parents and siblings.

Left to cherish his memories is his sons: Jose B. (Evalina) Zapata, Adulfo (Sabrina Gonzalez) Zapata, Clemente A. Zapata; his daughters: Patricia Zapata, Manuela (Jose) Cavillo, Maricela (Jose Torres) Zapata and 22 grandchildren.

Visitation for Mr. Jose Zapata will be Saturday, October 16, 2021 from 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm with a Holy Rosary at 6:00 pm at Salinas Funeral Home- Chapel of the Heavens. A Graveside Service will take place on Sunday, October 17, 2021 at 10:00 am at Highland Memorial Park in Weslaco.

Funeral Services have been entrusted to Salinas Funeral Home of Elsa.
