Edinburg - Efrain Ramirez Longoria, 76, passed away Wednesday, March 7, 2023.
Mr. Ramirez Longoria was born July 9, 1946 in Rio Bravo, Tamaulipas, Mexico, son of Zenon Ramirez and Porfiria Longoria. He is preceded in death by his parents.
Left to cherish his memories are his wife, Alicia Araguz Garcia; his children, Mario A. Ramirez Araguz (Laura Nancy Tijerina), Nora A. Ramirez Araguz (Cesar Araguz), Norma E. Ramirez Araguz (David Chavez), Blanca M. Ramirez Araguz (Ignacio Aleman), Efrain H. Ramirez Araguz (Yurani Ramirez); brother, Santos Luis Longoria (Rosario Salomon). Also surviving him are 16 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 9, 2023 from 3:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a rosary at 7:00 p.m. at Salinas Funeral Home - Chapel of the Heavens in Weslaco. As per his wishes, he will be cremated at a later date.
Funeral services have been entrusted to Salinas Funeral Home in Weslaco.
