Mr. Galvan was born on September 22, 2000 to Mr. Martin Martinez and Mrs. Maria Guadalupe Romero Martinez in Mission, Texas.

Edel is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Mr. Trinidad Romero and Mrs. Maria del Refugio Romero; his paternal grandmother, Manuela Martinez.

Left to cherish his memories is his daughter, Sophia Catalina Galvan; his parents, Mr. Martin Martinez and Mrs. Maria Guadalupe Romero Martinez; his brothers, Jorge Galvan, Said Galvan, Rhamsses Galvan, Bogarth A. Galvan, Brian L. Galvan; his sister, Itzel Galvan; his paternal grandfather, Jesus Martinez.

Visitation for Mr. Edel Jamal Galvan is scheduled for Thursday, August 4, 2022 from 1:00 pm to 8:00 pm with a Holy Rosary at 6:00 pm at Salinas Funeral Home- Chapel of the Heavens in Weslaco. A Chapel Service will be held on Friday, August 5, 2022 at 10:00 am at Salinas Funeral Home- Chapel of the Heavens in Weslaco. Interment will follow at Sacred Park Cemetery in Mercedes.
