Elsa- Alicia F. Layton, 78, went to be with the Lord on Monday, April 26, 2021 at Edinburg Regional Medical Center in Edinburg.

She was born on January 30, 1943 to Mr. Andres Farias & Mrs. Gregoria Garcia Farias in Elsa, Texas.

Mrs. Layton is preceded in death by her parents and her brother: Alfredo Farias.

Left to cherish Mrs. Alicia F. Layton's memories is her Loving Husband: Eleuterio Layton Jr.; her sons: Antonino (Norma V.) Layton & Jacob Isaac (Kelsey) Layton; her daughters: Anna Belinda (Antonio) Perez & Monica Mimili (Jesus) Garcia; her brothers: Victor Farias, Dennis Farias, Jorge Farias; her sisters: Virginia Corpus, Andrea Zaragoza, Matiana Billman, Aurora Melendes, Oralia Lovelace & Ruby Farias; and 12 grandchildren.

Visitation for Mrs. Alicia F. Layton is scheduled for Thursday, April 29, 2021 from 1:00 pm to 8:00 pm with a Holy Rosary at 6:00 pm at Salinas Funeral Home- Chapel of the Angels. Visitation will continue on Friday, April 30, 2021 from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm at Salinas Funeral Home- Chapel of the Angels. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 1:00 pm at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Edinburg. As per Mrs. Layton's wishes she will be cremated at a later date.
