Agustin Guzman Serna

Brownsville - Agustin Guzman Serna, 78, passed away Saturday, April 30, 2022, at Valley Baptist Medical Center.

Mr. Serna was born August 5, 1943, in Rio Hondo, Texas, son of Juan Serna Viera and Manuela Guzman Serna. He is preceded in death by his parents; brother, Juan Diego Rodriguez; sisters, Maria de Jesus Rodriguez, San Juana Rodriguez and Rosa Maria Rodriguez.

Left to cherish his memories are his wife, Maria Teresa Hernandez Garcia Serna; sons, Agustin Serna Jr. (Juliana), Juan Carlos Serna, Jesus Daniel Serna (Stacy); brother, Eduardo Rodriguez; sisters, Olga Rodriguez, Maria Dolores Rodriguez, Alma Delia Rodriguez and Beatriz Rodriguez. Also surviving him are 4 grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 3, 2022, from 1:00 pm to 8:00 pm with a rosary at 6:00 pm at Salinas Funeral Home-Chapel of the Heavens. As per his wishes, he will be cremated at later date.

Funeral services have been entrusted to Salinas Funeral Home in Brownsville.
