Brownsville, TX - Yolanda Elsa Padilla, 77, passed away to be with the Lord on December 3, 2025 at her residence.

Mrs. Padilla was born on March 17, 1948 in Brownsville, TX to Mr.Nicolas Castaneda Lopez & Mrs. Angelica Castillo.

She is preceded in death by her parents; one daughter, Angela Padilla; three brothers, Sergio Castañeda, Cesar Castañeda & Felipe Castañeda.

Yolanda Elsa Padilla is survived by one son, Joseph A. Padilla (Angelica); one daughter, Monica Guerrero (Alonzo) & one brother, Armando Castañeda.

As per her wishes Mrs. Padilla will be cremated. An 11:00 AM Funeral Mass will be held Monday, December 15, 2025 at Mary Mother of the Church in Brownsville, TX.

Funeral Arrangements have been entrusted to Salinas Funeral Home of Brownsville.
