Virginia C. Martinez

La Blanca, Texas - Virginia C. Martinez, 79, passed away to be with the Lord on August 25, 2025 at Knapp Medical Center.

Mrs. Martinez was born on May 25, 1946 in Edinburg, TX to Mr. Rosendo Castillo & Mrs. Guillerma Moreno.

She is preceded in death by her parents: her husband, Noe M. Martinez; one son, Joel Martinez; four brothers & one younger sister.

Virginia C. Martinez is survived by one son, Noe Martinez Jr.; one daughter, Noelia Sandoval (Ovidio) & one honorary son, Elias Bourbois (Terri). Also surviving are three granddaughters, one grandson & two great grandchildren.

Visitation for Virginia C. Martinez is scheduled for Wednesday, August 27, 2025, from 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Salinas Funeral Home Elsa - Chapel of The Heavens with a 7:00 PM Rosary. A 10:00 AM Funeral Mass will be held Thursday, August 28, 2025 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Elsa, TX. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park in Edinburg, TX. Serving as pallbearers will be Mark Sandoval, Elias Bourbois, Roy Treviño, Diego Alvarado, Ruben Peña & Jacinto Alaniz.
