Weslaco- Victor Garate Jr., 69, passed away on Thursday, July 29, 2021 at Knapp Medical Center in Weslaco.
He was born on March 11, 1952 to Mr. Victor Garate Sr. & Mrs. Olivia De Leon in Weslaco, Texas.
Mr. Garate is preceded in death by his parents.
Left to cherish his memories is his Loving Wife: Norma L. Solis, his son: Isaiah X. (Ingrid) Garate, Hector J. Decanini; his daughter: Melissa Lynn (Shaun) Eatock; his sister: Minerva Reyna; his grandchildren: Marcos Diaz, Christian Flores, Katelyn Flores, Sophia Victoria Garate; his great-grandchild: Andrea Lynn Diaz.
Visitation is scheduled for Monday, August 2, 2021 from 1:00 pm to 8:00 pm with a Holy Rosary at 6:00 pm at Salinas Funeral Home- Chapel of the Heavens. A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, August 3, 2021 at 10:00 am at Salinas Funeral Home- Chapel of the Heavens. Interment will follow at Highland Memorial Park in Weslaco.
Funeral Services have been entrusted to Salinas Funeral Home of Elsa.
