Tristan Jordan Salinas

May 16, 2026 — May 24, 2026

McAllen, Texas- With deep sorrow and hearts heavy with grief, we remember and honor the brief but profoundly impactful life of Baby Tristan Jordan Salinas. Born prematurely on May 16, 2026, in Edinburg, Texas, Tristan's tender presence touched the lives of all who knew him during the little time he was with us. Despite his courageous fight, he passed away on May 24, 2026, leaving an indelible mark of love within his family.

Tristan was a beloved son to Christopher Jordan Salinas and Jovanna Ednora Estrada, whose love and hope surrounded him tenderly every moment. He was cherished not only by his parents but also by his extended family; his paternal aunts, Amelia Faith Salinas and Victoria Rose Salinas, and his maternal uncle, Jonathe Edwim Estrada, held him dear in their hearts. His grandfather and grandmother on his father's side, Cris Salinas and Vickie Lorena Salinas, and his maternal grandfather, Andres Limon Estrada, found in Tristan a precious light that shone amidst the sorrow. The family's pain is profound with the loss of Anabel Estrada, his maternal grandmother, who now rests alongside her beloved grandson.

Tristan's fragile journey has reminded all who loved him of the preciousness of life and the strength found in family bonds and unspoken love. A viewing to honor and remember Tristan will be held on May 27, 2026, from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Salinas Funeral Home of Weslaco-Chapel of Faith in Weslaco, Texas. This gathering serves as a tender moment for friends and family to come together, to hold each other close, and to celebrate the short but meaningful life of this brave little soul.

Though Tristan's time with us was fleeting, his memory will forever be held lovingly in the hearts of those who loved him. His story is a delicate reminder of how even the smallest lives can leave the deepest imprints. We carry the pain of his absence with humility and grace, honoring the baby boy who came into the world with immense love and who will always be remembered as a shining light within his family. Rest peacefully, sweet Tristan Jordan Salinas. You will be profoundly missed but forever cherished.
