Brownsville- Tomas Vasquez Jr., 70, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, June 11, 2025, in Harlingen, Texas.

Mr. Vasquez was born on March 6, 1955, to Mr. Tomas Vasquez Sr. and Mrs. Elodia P. Vasquez in Brownsville, Texas.

Mr. Vasquez is preceded in death by his father, Tomas Vasquez Sr. and his wife, Amparo Vasquez.

Left to cherish his memories are his daughters, Veronica Marie Vasquez, Melissa Vasquez (Timothy), Dolores Michelle Vasquez; his sons, Tomas Vasquez III, Aurelio (Michelle) Martinez; his mother, Elodia P. Vasquez; his brothers, Cipriano (Yury) Vasquez, Enrique (Sonia) Vasquez; his sisters, Delfina (Alberto) Torres, Paula (Rolando) Garza, Maria Luisa (Efrain) Alonzo, Estela (Frank) Basaldu, Amalia (Willie) Aguirre, Victoria (Ruben) Ramos; 21 grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation for Mr. Tomas Vasquez Jr., is scheduled for Thursday, June 19, 2025, from 4:00 pm to 9:00 pm with a Holy Rosary at 7:00 pm at Salinas Funeral Home- Chapel of the Angels in Brownsville. A Military burial will take place at a later date in Coastal Bend State Veterans Cemetery in Corpus, Christi, Texas.

Funeral Services have been entrusted to Salinas Funeral Home of Brownsville.
