Teresa Valdez

Mercedes, Texas - Teresa Valdez, 57, passed away to be with the Lord on September 30, 2023 at McAllen Heart Hospital.

Mrs. Valdez was born on November 28, 1965 in Florieda, TX. to Mr. Benigno Valdez & Mrs. Minerva Valdez.

Teresa Valdez is survived by both of her parents Mr. & Mrs. Valdez, her husband Roberto Cantu, her sons Robert Andrew Cantu and Randal Aaron Cantu, her daughter Theresa Gonzalez, her brother Crispin Valdez, her sisters Lorena Valdez Pierce (Jesse) and Veronica Valdez (Joey Reyna), and her grandchildren Mikayla Villarreal, Melanie Villarreal and Michael Villarreal.

Visitation for Teresa Valdez is scheduled for Monday, October 02, 2023 from 2:00 PM to 9:00 PM with a Holy Rosary at 7:00 PM. Visitation will continue on Tuesday, October 03,2023 from 2:00 PM to 9:00 PM with a Rosay on both evenings. Church is Tentatively scheduled for Wednesday October 04,2023 at 1:00 PM at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Mercedes. Internment will follow at Highland Memorial park in Weslaco.

Funeral Arrangements have been entrusted to Salinas Funeral Home of Weslaco.
