Simona Guerrero

Elsa- Simona Guerrero, 92, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, July 13, 2025 at Knapp Medical Center in Weslaco.

Mrs. Guerrero was born October 28, 1932 to Mr. Anastacio Cantu Mrs. Marcelina Garcia in Beeville, Texas.

Mrs. Guerrero is preceded in death by her parents; her brothers, Reynaldo Cantu, Alejandro Cantu, Adan Cantu; her sister, Amada Perez; her husband, Diego Guerrero and her son-in-law, Mike Garza.

Left to cherish her memories are her son, Jaime Guerrero; her daughters, Miroslava G. (Robert) Sifuentes, Yolanda Garza, Zilda Guerrero; five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Visitation for Mrs. Simona Guerrero is scheduled for Thursday, July 17, 2025 from 4:00 pm to 9:00 pm with a Holy Rosary at 7:00 pm at Salinas Funeral Home- Chapel of the Angels in Elsa. Visitation will continue on Friday, July 18, 2025 from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm at Salinas Funeral Home- Chapel of the Heavens in Elsa followed by a Funeral Mass at 1:00 pm at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Elsa. Interment will follow at Highland Memorial Park in Weslaco.

Funeral Services have been entrusted to Salinas Funeral Home of Elsa.
