Simon Serna

Edinburg - Simon Serna, 69. passed away Sunday, February 12, 2023 at his residence.

Mr. Serna was born May 7, 1953 in Rio Bravo, Tamaulipas, Mexico, son of Luis Serna and Rita Castillo. He is preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Maria Serna.

Left to cherish his memories are his wife, Bertha Munoz Serna; his children, Elizabeth Serna, Nancy Llanos, Rita Serna, Luis Serna, Marilu Constantino, Omar Serna, John Serna, Mike Serna; his sister, San Juana Ramos. Also surviving him are 16 grandchildren.

Visitation for Mr. Simon Serna is scheduled for Wednesday, February 15, 2023 from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm with a Holy Rosary at 7:00 pm at Salinas Funeral Home- Chapel of the Angels in Elsa. A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, February 16, 2023 at 10:00 am at Salinas Funeral Home- Chapel of the Angels in Elsa. Interment will follow at Valle de la Paz Cemetery in Hargill, Texas.
