Silverio Maldonado Castillo

It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Silverio Maldonado Castillo, who departed this world on November 1, 2026, at the age of 91. A resident of Edinburg, Texas, Silverio was a loving father, cherished son, and a steadfast friend. His warmth and kindness touched many lives, leaving an indelible mark on everyone who had the privilege to know him.

Silverio is survived by his devoted children, son Roy Maldonado and daughter Juana Maria Loredo, who will always carry his love and lessons in their hearts. And his beloved 14 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.

To honor Silverio's life and legacy, a Rosary will be held at Salinas Funeral Home - Chapel of the Angels on November 3, 2026, at 7:00 PM. Family and friends are invited to gather for a Public Viewing earlier that same day at 3:00 PM to 9;00 PM, also at Salinas Funeral Home - Chapel of the Angels.

As we reflect on Silverio's life, let us celebrate the joy he brought into this world, the laughter he shared, and the countless memories that will forever reside in our hearts. He will be greatly missed but never forgotten. May he rest in peace.
