Seferina Z Loredo

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Seferina Z. Loredo, a beloved daughter, mother, and cherished friend, who left this world on April 29, 2026, at the age of 93, in her hometown of La Villa, Texas. Seferina, known for her warmth, kindness, and vibrant spirit, was a guiding light in the lives of those who had the privilege of knowing her.

Born on February 11, 1933, to Francisco Zepeda and Eulalia Lopez, Seferina was a woman of resilience and grace. She dedicated her life to nurturing her family. Seferina's love transcended the ordinary; she had an extraordinary ability to make everyone feel special, and her laughter would bring joy to even the dullest of days.

As we reflect on her life, we celebrate the many memories created in her warm embrace-from the delicious meals she lovingly prepared to the story-filled evenings gathered around her side. Seferina's generous spirit touched many lives, and her wisdom will remain with us forever.

Seferina proceeded in death by her husband; Juan Loredo Cantu, her parents; Francisco Zepeda and Eulalia Lopez. She is survived by her children; Juanita M. Loredo, Evelia L. Morales (Manuel), Maria Lourdes Loredo Leos (Eluterio), Berta Loredo Cantu (Noe), Martin Loredo (Sofia), Francisco Javier Loredo (Norma), Samuel Loredo (Sylvia), Angelica Loredo Rivera (Ricardo), Juan Loredo Jr. (Olga), her 29 grandchildren, 45 great grandchildren, and 9 great great grandchildren.

A series of ceremonies will honor Seferinas life and legacy. Family and friends are invited to gather for a viewing at Salinas Funeral Home Elsa- Chapel of the Angels on Tuesday, May 5, 2026, from 2:00 PM to 9:00 PM followed a 7:00 PM Rosary, reflecting the deep faith that guided Seferinas throughout her life.

On Wednesday, May 6, 2026, a 1:00 PM Mass will be held at Our Lady of Guadalupe in La Villa, Texas, a place sacred to Seferina and her family. Following the Mass, the interment will take place at Highland Memorial Park, where Seferina will be laid to rest, surrounded by the beauty of nature and the warmth of family.
