Mercedes, Texas - Santiago Raul Ramirez, 77, passed away to be with the Lord on April 1, 2024 at Valley Grande Manor Nursing Home in Weslaco.
Mr. Ramirez was born on July 25, 1946 in Edinburg, TX to Andres & Rafaela Ramirez.
He is preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Juan Ramirez, Pedro Ramirez; one sister, Elma Gomez; three grandsons, Thomas Andrew Ramirez, Aaron Matthew Ramirez, & Arnold Ramirez, Jr.
Santiago Raul Ramirez is survived by his wife, Elvia Ramirez; three sons, Raul Andres Ramirez, Arnold Ramirez (Bertha), Abel Ramirez (Melissa); two daughters, Erica Ramirez, Elizabeth Rincon (Isaac); one brother, Rafael Ramirez; two sisters, Carmen Martinez & Raquel Morales. Also surviving are 13 grandchildren & 7 great-grandchildren.
Visitation for Santiago Raul Ramirez is scheduled at Rio Life Community Church in Mercedes, TX on Friday, April 5, 2024 from 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM with a Prayer Service at 7:00 PM. No sevices will take place at Salinas Funeral Home. Crematioin will take at Val Verde Memorial Gardens in Donna.
Funeral Arrangements have been entrusted to Salinas Funeral Home of Weslaco.
