San Juanita Carrillo Aguilera

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of San Juanita Carrillo Aguilera, who left this world peacefully on January 21, 2026, at the age of 83. Born on May 13, 1942, in Dinamita Durango Mexico, San Juanita was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and devoted sister. She was known for her warmth, generosity, and unwavering spirit.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Antonio Aguilera & Ramona Chacon; her husband, Armando Carrillo; one daughter, Nohemi Carrillo; one brother Dario Aguilera; five sisters, Josefina Aguilera, Agustina Aguilera, Aurelia Aguilera, Martha Aguilera & Faustina Aguilera.

San Juanita dedicated her life to her family as a homemaker, nurturing her beloved children, Armando Carrillo, Jr. (Maria), Rebeca Cantu (Elijio), Nohemi Rangel (Rodrigo), Esthela Reyna, and Ramona Carrillo.

As we gather to honor and celebrate the life of San Juanita Carrillo Aguilera, we invite family and friends to join us for the following services that will pay tribute to her beautiful spirit. A public viewing will take place at Salinas Funeral Home Elsa - Chapel of the Angels on Monday, January 26, 2026, from 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM, with a 7:00 PM Prayer Service. A 10:00 AM Funeral Service will be held at Vino Nuevo San Carlos Church (8305 E. Curry Rd. Edinburg, TX). Interment will follow at Weslaco City Cemetery.

San Juanita Carillo Aguilera will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Her legacy of love and resilience will continue to inspire those she leaves behind. May she rest in eternal peace.
