Ruben A. Salinas

Elsa- Ruben A. Salinas, 81, went to be with the Lord on Monday, September 5, 2022 at his residence.

He was born on April 13, 1941 to Mr. Manuel Salinas and Catarina A. Salinas in Edcouch, Texas.

Mr. Salinas is preceded in death by his parents; his first wife, Dominga T. Salinas; his sons, George Salinas, Gilbert Salinas; his brothers, David(Ercilia) Garza, Reynaldo (Jesusa) Salinas, Manuel Salinas; his sisters, Lydia (Jose) Garza, Dora (Cirilo) Gonzalez, Irma (Jose) Zavala.

Left to cherish his memories is his wife, Ana Miriam Salinas; his sons, Ruben (Sandra) Salinas, Juan Carlos Godinez; his daughters, Gracie Salinas, Nohemi (Anthony) Godinez; his daughter-in-laws, Lilly Salinas, Leonor Salinas; his sister, Delia (Cesar) Salinas; 13 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.

Visitation for Mr. Ruben A. Salinas is scheduled for Friday, September 9, 2022 from 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm with a Holy Rosary at 6:00 pm at Salinas Funeral Home- Chapel of the Angels in Elsa. A Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, September 10, 2022 at 10:00 am at St. Theresa Catholic Church in Edcouch. Interment will follow at Highland Memorial Park in Weslaco.
