Ruben Lopez Garza

Weslaco, Texas - Ruben Lopez Garza, 75, passed away to be with the Lord on May 1, 2024, at Knapp Medical Center.

Mr. Lopez was born on March 30, 1949, in Reynosa Tamaulipas Mexico to Mr. Jesus Lopez & Mrs. Francisca Garza.

He is preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Jesus Lopez Garza, Sigifredo Lopez Garza; two sisters, Maria Elia Lopez & Enedelia Lopez.

Ruben Lopez Garza is survived by two daughters, Claudia Lopez (Rodolfo Rivera), Virginia Lopez (Mark Thornton); four sisters, Rita Lopez, Yolanda Lopez, Silvia Lopez & Imelda Lopez. Also surviving are three grandchildren & one great-grandson.

Visitation for Ruben Lopez Garza is scheduled for Monday, May 6, 2024, from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM and Tuesday, May 7, 2024, from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Salinas Funeral Home of Weslaco - Chapel of Grace with a 6:00 PM Rosary. Cremation will take place at Val Verde Memorial Gardens in Donna.

Funeral Arrangements have been entrusted to Salinas Funeral Home of Weslaco.
