Donna, Texas - Rosalio Martinez, 77, passed away to be with the Lord on June 9, 2024 in Donna, TX.

Mr. Martinez was born on August 29, 1946 to Santos & Maria Martinez in Ejido Buena Vista Tamaulipas Mexico.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Minerva V. Martinez; one son, Juan Pablo Martinez; two brothers, Basiliano Martinez, Refugio Martinez; two sisters, Anita Martinez, Irma De Leon; two grandsons, David Cristobal Valdez, Jeremiah Carmona & 1 great-granddaughter, Esmeralda Garcia.

Rosalio Martinez is survived by three sons, Gilberto Martinez, Rosalio Martinez, Jr., Merarie Moses Martinez (Lorena); three daughters, Veronica V. Vasquez (Juan G.), Rosanna M. Garcia (Olegario), Angelica M. Garza (Arturo Gutierrez); two brothers, Guadalupe Martinez, Santos Martinez, Jr. & one sister, Maria Martinez. Also surviving are 25 grandchildren & 42 great-grandchildren.

Visitation for Rosalio Martinez is scheduled for Wednesday, June 12, 2024 from 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM with a Prayer Service at 7:00 PM at Salinas Funeral Home of Weslaco - Chapel of the Heavens. A Chapel Service will be held 10:00 AM, Thursday, June 13, 2024 at Salinas Funeral Home of Weslaco - Chapel of The Heavens. Interment will follow at Mercedes Memorial Restlawn.
