Rosa Leija Del Toro was born on October 30, 1930 in Edcouch, TX to Mr. Alvaro Leija & Mrs. Dionicia Herrera.

She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Benjamin Del Toro; two brothers, Alvaro Leija, Jr., Jose Hipolito Leija; three sisters, Evelia Leija Torres, Teodora Leija Navarro & Elisa Leija Alonzo.

Rosa Leija Del Toro is survived by two brothers, Juan Jose Leija, Reynaldo Leija & one sister, Juanita Leija Cavazos.

Visitation for Rosa Leija Del Toro is scheduled for Thursday, September 4, 2025 from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM with a 7:00 PM Prayer Service at Salinas Funeral Home of Elsa - Chapel of the Heavens. A 10:00 AM Funeral Service is scheduled for Friday, September 5, 2025 at Salinas Funeral Home of Elsa - Chapel of The Heavens. Interment will follow at Highland Memorial Park in Weslaco, Texas.
