Roberto Munoz

June 21, 1975 — March 7, 2026

Roberto Munoz, a loving husband and dedicated father, passed away on March 7, 2026, at the Herman Memorial Texas Medical Center. Born on June 21, 1975, in San Benito, Texas, Roberto was a beacon of strength and compassion, deeply cherished by those who knew him.

A proud graduate with a Bachelor's degree in Nursing, Roberto found his calling in helping others. He dedicated his career to serving his community, always embodying the essence of a caretaker. His commitment to nursing was matched only by his unwavering love for his family. For Roberto, his beloved wife of 24 years, Cynthia Munoz, and their three daughters, Victoria Aide, Alba Rebecca, and Leila Vianey Munoz, were the absolute center of his universe. As a "Girl Dad," he cherished his role as a protector and supporter, always instilling in them the values of kindness and resilience.

Roberto's personality was a beautiful blend of warmth and determination. He was a loving and caring family man, known for being the peacemaker in any situation. His ability to see the good in everyone made him a treasured friend and confidant to many. Thoroughly smart and hardworking, Roberto excelled not only as a nurse but also as a problem solver in life, always ready to lend a listening ear or a helping hand to those in need. His calm demeanor, paired with assertiveness when required, earned him respect and admiration from everyone who crossed his path.

To his family, he was the ultimate caregiver, always ready to help when anyone was feeling unwell. With a heart that was both forgiving and generous, Roberto approached life with a deep sense of faith and positivity. In the warmth of his backyard, he would often gather his loved ones, wielding his grill to share his famous BBQ pork ribs, each bite a symbol of his love and dedication to family.

Roberto is preceded in death by both of his parents, Ignacio Munoz and Olga Gonzalez, who raised him to value family and community. His legacy will live on through the lives he touched and the love he shared with his wife and daughters.
