Ricardo Peralez

Weslaco- It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Ricardo Garcia Peralez June 14, 2026. Though our hearts ache, we find peace in knowing he has left us to be with God and is now at eternal rest.

Ricardo was born December 28, 1959 in Hanford, California. He was in the auto body industry for over 30 years. Throughout his career, he was known for his steady hands and an eye for perfection. He was respected by customers and coworkers alike for the pride he took in his craft.

With his easy smile and that familiar sparkle in his eyes, Ricardo had a way of making everyone around him feel welcome. People were naturally drawn to him, and he never stayed a stranger for long. You could count on Ricardo to lend a hand when needed and check in on you when you were down. He did not hesitate to step in with food, errands or presence.

When Ricardo "Little Ricky" wasn't working hard he was playing hard- Dressed to impress with a cold drink in hand ready to share stories, make you laugh with a good joke or dance the night away.

Above all else he had an immense love for his daughters. His joy came from the moments he was able to spend with the people who meant most to him, his family. Ricardo's daughters, Vanessa Almaguer (Mike) and Celestina Middleton (Kalin), along with his six beloved grandchildren, were treasures he held in his heart.

Among those who carry his memory forward are his brothers Armando Peralez, Lupe Peralez and sister Maria San Juana Peralez-Soler who share in the grief as well as the celebration of Ricardo's life. Preceded in death are his loving parents, Pablo Peralez and Celestina Garcia Peralez, along with siblings Ventura Peralez, Juan Peralez, Mary Peralez and Pablo Jr. Peralez.

Though he is no longer with us in body, Ricardo remains forever present in the stories shared, in the laughter of his grandchildren and love for Jesus.

Services will be held privately by family.

Funeral Services have been entrusted to Salinas Funeral Home of Weslaco.
