Ricardo Ozuna

Elsa, Texas - Ricardo Sanchez Ozuna, 70, passed away to be with the Lord on August 23, 2025 at MD Anderson Hospital in Houston.

Ricardo Ozuna, was born on October 5, 1954 in Sacramento, CA to Mr. Gilberto Ozuna & Mrs. Orfelinda Sanchez Ozuna.

He is preceded in death by his father, Gilberto Ozuna.

Ricardo S. Ozuna is survived by his loving wife, Adilia Ozuna, his son Ricardo Benjamin Ozuna (fiancee Mandy Carin), daughters; Rosalie Tinajero Ozuna (Miguel), Amanda Ozuna Padilla (Celeste), Janet Marie Vallejo, Nelly Whalen (Michael); his mother Orfelinda Ozuna, his brothers Ruben Ozuna (Maggie), Johnny Ozuna (Anna), Javier Ozuna (Rosa), and one sister; Thelma Cordero (Victor). Also surviving Mr. Ozuna are his granchildren, Joseph Vallejo, Ethan Garcia, Alejandro Banda, Ryan Whalen, & John Whalen.

Visitation for Ricardo Sanchez Ozuna is scheduled for Thursday, August 28, 2025 from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM with a Holy Rosary to take place at 7:00 PM at Salinas Funeral Home - Chapel of the Angels. A Funeral Mass is scheduled for Friday, August 29, at 10:00 AM at St. Theresa Catholic Church in Edcouch, TX. A cremation will follow at Val Verde Memorial Crematory in Donna, Tx.
