Reymundo Rangel, Sr.

Edcouch, Texas - Reymundo Rangel Sr., 77, passed away to be with the Lord on August 10, 2025 at his residence.

Mr. Rangel was born on March 15, 1948 in Edcouch, TX to Mr. Marcos Rangel & Mrs. Fidela Salinas.

He is preceded in death by his parents; one son, Ricardo Rangel; three brothers, Alejandro Rangel, Juan Rangel, Marcos Rangel; two sisters, Paula Rangel & Martina Rangel.

Reymundo Rangel Sr. is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Martha T. Rangel; four sons, Reymundo Rangel, Jr. (Maryann), Reynaldo Rangel (Kailyn Wagoner), Rolando Rangel, Renato Rangel; one daughter, Dora Rangel (Alberto Segura) & one brother, Jose Rangel. Also surviving are eight grandchildren & three great-grandchildren.

Visitation for Reymundo Rangel Sr. is scheduled for Wednesday, August 13, 2025 from 2:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Salinas Funeral Home Elsa - Chapel of The Angels with a 7:00 PM Rosary. A 2:00 PM Funeral Mass will be held Thursday, August 14, 2025 at St. Theresa Catholic Church in Edcouch, TX. Interment will follow at Highland Memorial Park in Weslaco, TX.
