Reyes Ludivina Rodriguez, a beacon of kindness and warmth, passed away peacefully on May 27, 2026, in Harlingen, TX. Born on February 10, 1962, in China Nuevo Leon, Mexico, she lived a life marked by a radiant smile and an open heart, touching all who were fortunate to know her. Reyes was not just a remarkable woman; she was a cherished wife, mother, daughter, sister, and grandmother whose presence illuminated every family gathering and community circle she entered.

Reyes' enduring spirit and welcoming nature made her a pillar of comfort and joy. Her kindness was matched only by the strength of her devotion to her family-a great wife to her husband, Roberto Rodriguez, with whom she shared 42 years of marriage, a loving mother to her children Roberto, Jose Luis, Rene Emmanuel, and Jessica, and a doting grandmother to Evellia, Genesis, Daleyza, Estrella, and Leonardo Rafael. She was also a beloved daughter, sister, and friend, whose love and care extended beyond generations, weaving a tapestry of affection that will remain in the hearts of those she leaves behind.

Among those still blessed to carry her memory in their lives are her devoted husband, Roberto Rodriguez; her sons, Roberto Rodriguez and his wife Myra Torres, Jose Luis Rodriguez and his wife Joanna Beraza, and Rene Emmanuel Rodriguez and his wife Geanette Villanueva; her daughter Jessica Rodriguez; her brothers Gerardo Hernandez and Baldemar Hernandez; and her sister Rosa Alva Gonzalez. Together, they hold close the values and warmth Reyes instilled, continuing the legacy she so beautifully crafted.

Reyes was preceded in death by her loving parents, Ricardo and Ofelia Hernandez; her brother Jose Angel Hernandez; as well as sisters Elvia Ochoa and Irma Ochoa, each remembered fondly and missed deeply.

In honor of Reyes Ludivina Rodriguez's life and spirit, a viewing will be held on Thursday, May 28, 2026, from 2:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Salinas Funeral Home of Weslaco - Chapel of the Heavens, located at 2929 W. Expressway 83, Weslaco, TX. A prayer service is scheduled for the same evening at 7:00 PM, providing a sacred space for those wishing to celebrate her life and legacy. The following morning, Friday, May 29, 2026, her committal service will take place at Val Verde Memorial Gardens Cemetery starting at 9:00 AM.

Reyes embraced life fully, her smile a lasting symbol of her generous heart and unyielding love. Her kindness, her grace, and her unshakeable devotion to family continue to inspire all who knew her. Though gone from this world, the echoes of her laughter and the warmth of her embrace will forever linger, a testament to a truly extraordinary life well lived.
