Brownsville, Texas â Rene Alanis, 92, passed away to be with the Lord on Wednesday, October 16, 2019 at Valley Baptist Medical Center.
Mr. Alanis was born on March 11, 1927, in Mexico to Mr. Jose Alanis & Apolinara Hernandez.
He is preceded in death by his parents and his grandchildren Rene Alanis Mendoza.
Left to cherish his memories are his wife: Guillermina Cepeda; sons: Guadalupe Ramirez (Maria), Juan Antonio Ramirez (Maria Luisa), Rene Javier Alanis (Amalia), Miguel Angel Alanis (Elizabeth), Jose Luis Alanis (Guadalupe), Victor Manuel Alanis (Nora Guadalupe), Ruben Iran Alanis, Ramon Ivan Alanis, his 14 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation for Mr. Rene Alanis is scheduled for Thursday, October 17, 2019, from 1 p.m. to 9 p.m. with a Rosary at 7 p.m. at Salinas Funeral Home Chapel of the Heavens. Funeral Services will be held on Friday, October 18, 2019, at 10 a.m. Interment will follow at Guillen Community Cemetery.
Funeral Arrangements have been entrusted to Salinas Funeral Home of Brownsville.
