Weslaco, Texas - Refugio Galvan Jr., 85, passed away to be with the Lord on August 4, 2025 at his residence.

Mr. Galvan was born on March 15, 1940 in Ionia, MI to Mr. Refugio Galvan & Mrs. Martina Garcia.

He is preceded in death by his parents.

Refugio Galvan Jr. is survived by his wife, Teofila Galvan; 4 daughters, Anna Marie Rhodes (James), Sara Galvan, Bethany White & Yolanda Garrett (John). Also surviving are 9 grandchildren & 11 great-grandchildren.

Visitation for Refugio Galvan Jr. is scheduled for Friday, August 8, 2025 from 2:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Salinas Funeral Home of Weslaco - Chapel of The Heavens with a 7:00 PM Prayer Service. A 10:00 AM Funeral Service is scheduled for Saturday, August 9, 2025 at Galvan Revival Church in Weslaco, TX. Interment will follow at Weslaco City Cemetery.
