Raul Garza Jr.

Harlingen - Raul Garza Jr., 71, passed away Saturday, January 7, 2023 at Valley Baptist Medical Center in Harlingen.

Mr. Garza was born September 24, 1951 in Brownsville, Texas, son of Raul Garza Sr. and Margarita M. Mayorga. He is preceded in death by his mother.

Left to cherish his memories are his children, Chris Garza. David Garza, Daniel Garza (Vianey), Cassandra Perez (Joey); brother, Rolando R. Garza (Cecilia); sisters, Cecilia Gomez, Cleo Elee (Kenneth), Delia Poe (Alan). Also surviving him are his grandchildren, Jaiden Garza, Ari Garza, Maddison Garza, Alexia Garza, Gavyn Perez and Zoey Perez.

Visitation will be held on Friday, January 13, 2023 from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm with a rosary at 5:00 pm at Salinas Funeral Home - Chapel of the Heavens in Brownsville. As per his wishes, he will be cremated at a later date.

Funeral services have been entrusted to Salinas Funeral Home in Brownsville.
