Raul Deanda

It is with profound sorrow that we announce the passing of Raul Deanda, beloved father, grandfather, and friend. Raul was born on October 15, 1942, and entered into eternal rest on March 27, 2026. He was 83 years old at the time of his passing, leaving behind the warmth of his love and cherished memories.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Felix Deanda and Guadalupe Sierra; his loving wife, Paula "Chita" Deanda.

Raul is survived by his devoted sons, Raul Deanda, Jr. and Rene Deanda, who will forever hold their father's spirit in his heart. Also surviving are his brother, Pedro Deanda and six grandchildren, Megan Deanda, Samantha Deanda, Abigail Deanda, Paula Deanda, Inan Deanda and Isis Deanda. He is also remembered fondly by extended family and friends whose lives he touched with his kindness and wisdom throughout his lifetime.

As we honor the life of Raul, we invite family and friends to gather for visitation on Monday, March 30, 2026, from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Salinas Funeral Home of Weslaco - Chapel of Faith. A funeral service celebrating his legacy will take place the following day, Tuesday, March 31, 2026, at 10:00 AM, also at the Salinas Funeral Home of Weslaco - Chapel of Faith. Following the service, Raul will be laid to rest at Val Verde Memorial Gardens Cemetery at 11:00 AM, where he will find peace among the serene surroundings.

Raul's warmth, humor, and unwavering spirit will be deeply missed by all who knew him. We take comfort in knowing that his legacy will be carried on through the love of his family and friends. May he rest in eternal peace.
