Ramiro Garcia, Jr., a beloved son, father, brother, and grandfather, passed away on July 14, 2026, in Edinburg, Texas. Born on June 29, 1964, in Weslaco, Texas, Ramiro was cherished by all who knew him for his steadfast character and generosity of spirit.

Ramiro was the son of Gumecinda Garcia and the late Ramiro Garcia, Sr. He shared deep bonds with his family, always valuing time spent together and the traditions they upheld. Ramiro was a source of strength and comfort to his loved ones, guiding them through both joyous milestones and difficult times.

He is survived by his devoted children: sons, Eric Garcia (Stephanie Gonzalez), Esia Garcia, and daughter Erin Garcia (Daniel Gamez). As a father, Ramiro provided warmth and unwavering support, nurturing his children with wisdom, patience, and love. He found immense joy in the role of grandfather to Milandria Joy Gamez, treasuring the light she brought into his life.

Ramiro’s family ties extended to his mother, Gumecinda Garcia, and his brothers, Fidencio Garcia, Ruben Garcia, and Tomas Garcia. The many moments they shared together created a foundation of kinship and trust, allowing each member to flourish within the embrace of their family.

He is preceded in death by his father, Ramiro Garcia, Sr., and his sister, Diana Garcia, whose memories Ramiro held close to his heart throughout his life. The loss of these dear family members profoundly shaped his outlook, inspiring Ramiro to foster unity and strength in those around him.

Friends and family whose lives were touched by Ramiro are invited to a viewing to honor and celebrate his memory. The viewing will be held on Thursday, July 16, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Salinas Funeral Home of Weslaco – Chapel of Faith, located at 2929 W. Expressway 83, Weslaco, TX 78599.

As per his wishes Mr. Garcia will be cremated at a later date.

Ramiro Garcia, Jr.’s legacy is one of devotion, integrity, and kindness. He will be deeply missed by those who were fortunate enough to know him, but his memory will live on in the stories retold, the bonds he nurtured, and the enduring love of his family.
