Patricia Diaz

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Patricia Diaz, beloved wife, mother, daughter, sister, and friend, who departed from this world on February 14, 2026, at the age of 50. Patricia was born on January 5, 1976, in Weslaco, Texas, and she spent her life nurturing her loving home.

She is preceded in death by her mother, Elisa Diaz.

Patricia is survived by her spouse, Carlos Castillo; two daughters, Anika Clarissa Castillo, Jasmine Layla Castillo; her father, Aaron Diaz and one brother, Aaron Diaz, Jr. (Eddica). Also surviving are her grandchildren, Anahi Reyes and Jeremiah Reyes; numerous nephews and nieces. Patricia's familial bonds were strong, and her love for her family was evident in everything she did. Her warmth and kindness left an indelible mark on those who had the pleasure of knowing her.

Family and friends will gather to celebrate Patricia's remarkable life and the love she shared with all. A viewing will be held at the Salinas Funeral Home Elsa - Chapel of the Angels on Wednesday, February 18, 2026, from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM with a 7:00 PM Rosary, where stories and memories will be shared in honor of a life well-lived.

As we say our goodbyes, we invite all who knew her to join us in reflecting on the joy, love, and laughter she brought into our world.

As per Patricia's wishes she will be cremated at a later date.

In times of remembrance, may we find comfort in knowing that Patricia is now at peace, surrounded by the love she so freely gave. Her spirit will live on in our hearts, and her legacy will continue to inspire those she has touched.
