Oralia Rizo

Jun 17, 1952 — Oct 28, 2026

With heavy hearts and cherished memories, we announce the passing of our beloved Oralia Rizo, who entered eternal rest on Wednesday, October 28, 2026, in San Antonio, Texas, at the age of 74.

Oralia was born on June 17, 1952, in San Juan, Texas, to Pedro Flores and Ofelia Zamora. Throughout her life, she was a woman whose greatest treasures were her family and the precious moments they shared. Her life was a beautiful reflection of love, devotion, and the unbreakable bonds of family.

A loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend, Oralia leaves behind a legacy that will forever live in the hearts of those who knew and loved her. The love she shared with her daughters, the special bond she held with her grandchildren, and the joy of welcoming a great-granddaughter were among the many blessings of her life. Her memory will continue to shine through the generations of family she leaves behind.

Although her earthly journey has come to an end, the love she gave so freely will never fade. Her family will forever cherish the memories of time spent together, the laughter they shared, and the countless little moments that now become priceless treasures. While her absence will be deeply felt, there is comfort in knowing that the love of a mother and grandmother never truly leaves us. It remains in our hearts, in our memories, and in the lives she touched.

Oralia was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Pedro Flores and Ofelia Zamora; three brothers, Pedro Flores, Jr., Ruben Flores, and Arnold Flores; and two sisters, Delia Flores and Susana Flores.

Left to cherish her beautiful memory are her three loving daughters, Jacqueline Del Barrio (Alfonso), Yvette Rizo (Rene Reyes), and Stephanie Walker (Tommye); her brother, Fidelio Flores; and her two sisters, Nora Castellanos and Sylvina Quintana. She is also survived by her 10 cherished grandchildren and one precious great-granddaughter, Lia Jo Godinez, along with numerous extended family members and friends who will forever hold her close in their hearts.

Though saying goodbye is never easy, Oralia's family finds comfort in the beautiful memories she leaves behind and the everlasting love that will continue to unite them. Her life was a blessing, her memory a treasure, and her love a gift that time can never take away.
