Odolina Jimenez

With profound sadness and heartfelt gratitude for a life beautifully lived, we announce the passing of Odolina Jimenez, who entered into the presence of her Lord on August 4, 2026, in Weslaco, Texas, at the age of 73.

Odolina was born on October 16, 1952, in Memphis, Tennessee, to Miguel Piña and Gabriela Aguilar. She was a devoted wife, loving mother, proud grandmother and great-grandmother, caring sister, faithful friend, and a woman of deep Catholic faith. A lifelong believer in Christ, Odolina was a devoted member of St. Pius X Catholic Church and proudly belonged to the Catholic Daughters of the Americas, where she faithfully served alongside her parish community. Her unwavering faith guided every aspect of her life and was reflected in the kindness, compassion, and selfless love she extended to everyone she met.

For 54 wonderful years, Odolina shared a beautiful marriage with the love of her life, Alejandro Jimenez, Sr. Together they built a home filled with faith, laughter, cherished memories, and unconditional love that will continue to inspire generations to come.

She leaves to cherish her memory her beloved husband of 54 years, Alejandro Jimenez, Sr.; her loving sons, Alejandro Jimenez, Jr. (Herica) and Jonathan Vince Jimenez (Venessa Elizondo); her brother, Miguel Piña, Jr.; 11 cherished grandchildren; and 2 precious great-grandchildren, all of whom were the pride and joy of her life.

Odolina was welcomed into eternal rest by her beloved parents, Miguel Piña and Gabriela Aguilar; her precious daughter, Priscilla Ann Jimenez; and her brother, Jaime Piña.

Though her physical presence will be deeply missed, the love she shared, the faith she lived, and the countless lives she touched will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved her. Her gentle spirit, warm smile, generous heart, and steadfast devotion to God and family leave behind a legacy that will continue to inspire future generations.

Funeral arrangements are currently pending and are under the direction of Salinas Funeral Home of Weslaco.
