Odilio Pruneda

Edinburg- Odilio Pruneda, 77, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, November 25, 2025 at his residence in Edinburg, Texas.

Mr. Pruneda was born on May 3, 1948 to Mr. Hilario Pruneda and Mrs. Librada Alcantar in Mexico.

Mr. Pruneda is preceded in death by his parents, Mr. Hilario Pruneda and Mrs. Librada Alcantar; his brother, Emilio Pruneda and his sister, Catarina P. Guerra.

Left to cherish his memories are his brothers, Simon Pruneda, Rogelio "Roy" Pruneda, Hilario Pruneda Jr.; his sister, Maria Oralia Saenz and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation for Mr. Odilio Pruneda is scheduled Sunday, November 30, 2025 from 2:00 pm to 8:00 pm with a Holy Rosary at 4:00 pm at Salinas Funeral Home- Chapel of the Heavens in Elsa. Visitation will continue on Monday, December 1, 2025 from 8:00 am to 12:00 pm with a Chapel Service at 10:00 am at Salinas Funeral Home- Chapel of the Heavens in Elsa. As per his wishes, Mr. Pruneda will be cremated at a later date.

Funeral Services have been entrusted to Salinas Funeral Home of Elsa.
