Noemi Sanchez Ziani

August 27, 1978 — January 8, 2026

Noemi Sanchez, a beacon of love and strength, left this world on January 8, 2026, at the age of 47. Born in Weslaco, TX, on August 27, 1978, Noemi was a remarkable woman whose spirit touched everyone she met. An accomplished individual, she earned her Associates in Psychology, but it was her nurturing nature that truly defined her life.

As the eldest sibling, Noemi was the steadfast leader of her family-a loving mother figure who held the roles of both sister and guide to her younger siblings, Noralee Sanchez Maldonado, Nancy Sanchez Castro, Nelda Sanchez Lopez, and Nelly Marie Sanchez. She possessed a wisdom beyond her years and was often sought for advice, drawing from her deep well of knowledge and experience. Her life revolved around family, and she was affectionately known as the glue that held them together.

Noemi's heart was an open door, welcoming all who crossed her path. A devoted wife to her husband, Mohammed Ziani, their love radiated warmth and joy, complementing her incredibly nurturing personality. She was a pastor who led her family in faith, instilling strong values and a sense of community in those around her. Her strength was unwavering; she faced life's challenges with bravery and optimism, inspiring others to do the same.

Traveling was a passion for Noemi, particularly adventures that took her to theme parks where every day felt like a celebration. A natural-born party planner, she thrived in the joyous atmosphere of festivities, sharing her love for life and creating heartfelt memories. Her fondness for strawberry shortcake became a delightful tradition, symbolizing the sweetness she brought to all occasions.

Her hobbies extended to dance, where she found happiness through Folklorico, showcasing her love for culture and connection. She lived fully, embracing each moment with grace, enthusiasm, and boundless love for everyone around her. Noemi's vibrant spirit will forever resonate in the hearts of many-family, friends, and all those she cherished.

She is survived by her beloved mother, Eulalia Reyes, and a host of nephews and nieces whose lives she enriched with her love. Noemi Sanchez leaves behind a legacy of compassion, laughter, and unwavering faith that will live on in the memories of her loved ones.
