Nicolas Lopez Alvaro passed away on October 1, 2026. He was born on December 12, 2001, in Chiapas, Mexico.

Nicolas will be remembered as a young man who was full of life and as a hard worker. Those qualities shaped the way he lived and the way he was known by the people around him. His energy, spirit, and dedication left a lasting impression on his family and all who had the blessing of knowing him.

He was preceded in death by his father, Nicolas Lopez Velasco.

Nicolas is survived by his mother, Eulalia Alvaro; his brother, Sufonias Lopez Alvaro; and his sisters, Elsa Lopez Alvaro and Rosa Angelica Lopez Alvaro. He will be deeply missed by his family, who carry forward his memory with love and remembrance.

A public viewing will be held on Sunday, October 4, 2026, from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Salinas Funeral Home of Weslaco - Chapel of the Heavens, 2929 W. Expressway 83, Weslaco, TX 78599. A rosary will also be held there on October 4, 2026, from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
