Natividad Ocañas

Donna - Natividad Ocañas, 77, passed away Saturday, November 9, 2024 at Edinburg Nursing Home under the care of Amara Hospice.

Mr. Ocañas was born April 22, 1947 in Donna, Texas, son of Genaro Ocañas and Francisca Gonzalez Ocañas. He is preceded in death by his wife Josefina Macias Ocañas; his parents and a brother, Angel Roberto Ocañas.

Left to cherish his memories are his children, Jose Ricardo Ocañas Sr., Gloria Idalia (Tom) Fuller, Irma Belinda Ocañas, Leticia (Balde) Oliva, Rosa Elia (Randy) Medina; his brothers, Jose Guadalupe Ocañas, Francisco Baldemar Ocañas, Noe Ocañas and his sister, Maria Margarita Ocañas. Also surviving him are 11 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren an numeours nieces nd nephews.

Visitation will be held Thursday, November 14, 2024 from 3:00 pm to 9:00 pm with a rosary at 7:00 pm at Salinas Funeral Home - Chapel of the Grace in Weslaco. A funeral mass is scheduled for Friday, November 15, 2024 at 1:00 pm at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Donna with interment to follow at Val Verde Memorial Gardens at 2:00 pm
