Edcouch, Texas - Mirta Rodriguez, 79, passed away to be with the Lord on May 11, 2025 at Knapp Medical Center in Weslaco, TX.

Mr. Rodriguez was born on September 21, 1945 in Edinburg, TX to Mr. Roberto Martinez & Mrs. Guadalupe Cabrera.

She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Santos Rodriguez; two sons, Arturo Rodriguez, Jorge Rodriguez; two brothers, Guadalupe Martinez & Roberto Martinez

Mirta Rodriguez is survived by her son, Hermenejildo Rodriguez; one daughter, Berta Rodriguez; two sisters, Maria Rodriguez & Julia Sepulveda. Also surviving are 12 grandchildren & 13 great-grandchildren.

Visitation for Mirta Rodriguez is scheduled for Wednesday, May 14, 2025 from 2:00 PM to 9:00 PM with a Prayer Service at 7:00 PM at Salinas Funeral Home- Chapel of the Angels. A 12:00 PM Funeral Service is scheduled for Thursday, May 15, 2025 at Salinas Funeral Home - Chapel of The Angels. Interment will follow at Val Verde Memorial Gardens in Donna, TX.
