Edinburg-Miguel Tellez, a beloved husband, brother, and cherished member of his community, passed away on July 28, 2026. Born on September 29, 1968, in Ciudad Gustavo Diaz Ordaz, Tamaulipas, Miguel lived a life marked by dedication to his family and an unwavering sense of integrity.
Miguel is survived by his devoted wife, Maria Teresa Guardiola, whose partnership with Miguel stood as a testament to love and mutual respect. He is also mourned by his sisters, Juany Tellez, Senaida Tellez, and Silvia Perez, who remember him fondly as a compassionate and supportive brother.
Miguel was preceded in death by his father, Jose Leonel, his mother, Hortencia Tamayo, and his brother, Galdino Tellez. He honored the memory of those who came before him through his actions and quiet strength, carrying forward their values in both word and deed.
Throughout his life, Miguel cultivated lasting relationships rooted in loyalty and kindness. Known for meeting challenges with resolve and humility, he created a lasting impact on those around him. Family, friends, and all who wish to pay their respects are invited to attend a public viewing on Friday, July 31, 2026, from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Salinas Funeral Home-Chapel of the Heavens, located at 304 E Edinburg Ave, Elsa, TX 78543. A prayer service will be held during this time on the same day, from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., also at Salinas Funeral Home-Chapel of the Heavens. As per his wishes, Mr. Tellez will be cremated at a later date.
Miguel Tellez's legacy is reflected in the lives he touched and the love he shared. His memory will continue to inspire all who had the honor of knowing him.

Edinburg - Miguel Tellez, amado esposo, hermano y apreciado miembro de su comunidad, falleció el 28 de julio de 2026. Nacido el 29 de septiembre de 1968 en Ciudad Gustavo Díaz Ordaz, Tamaulipas, Miguel vivió una vida marcada por la dedicación a su familia y un inquebrantable sentido de integridad.
