Michelle Garcia

It is with profound sorrow that we announce the passing of Michelle Garcia, she departed this life on February 18, 2026, at the age of 58. Born on September 22, 1967, in Lafayette, Indiana, Michelle was a vibrant spirit who embraced life with open arms.

She is preceded in death by her mother, Rafaela Guzman Garcia.

Michelle is survived by her beloved son, Jason Rubalcada (Ashley); her loving daughter, Ocean Michelle Rubalcada; her father, Jose Alonzo Garcia; one brother, Joseph Adrian Garcia; two sisters, Medalin Garcia and Mae Yvonee Martinez (Jerry+). Also surviving are her grandsons, Valentin, Jett, Benicio and Elias. Her nurturing influence extended beyond family; she was a source of warmth, kindness, and strength to many within her community. A devoted homemaker, Michelle poured her heart into creating a loving environment that welcomed all, embodying the essence of compassion and care.

As we gather to honor her memory, we invite friends and family to join us for a series of services that will celebrate her life and legacy. A viewing will take place on Wednesday, February 25, 2026, from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Salinas Funeral Home Elsa - Chapel of the Angels. A Prayer Service will commence at 6:00 PM on the same day, allowing for reflection and collective remembrance of Michelle's gentle spirit.

The Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, February 26, 2026, at 10:00 AM, also at Salinas Funeral Home Elsa - Chapel of the Angels. We will then proceed to Highland Memorial Park for interment, where Michelle will be laid to rest with the dignity and reverence she so richly deserves.
