Maria Ninfa Herrera

Brownsville - Maria Ninfa Herrera, 53, passed away Sunday, October 8, 2023.

Mrs. Herrera was born September 18, 1970 in Matamoros, Tamaulipas, Mexico, daughter of Adan Altamirano and Ninfa Alonso. She is preceded in death by her father.

Left to cherish her memories are her husband, Donato Herrera Jr.; her children, Juan Carlos Herrera, Jazmin Cassandra Herrera; her mother; a brother, Ricardo Altamirano; sisters, Margarita Altamirano, San Juana Garza, Maria del Socorro Gomez, Amelia Amezcua,Araceli Martinez, Elsa Pedraza and Alejandra Constantino. Also surviving her are grandchildren, Juan Carlos Herrera Jr. and Cayden Javier Herrera.

Visitation will be held on Friday, October 13, 2023 from 2:00 pm to 9:00 pm with a rosary at 7:00 pm at Salinas Funeral Home - Chapel of the Heavens in Brownsville. As per her wishes, she will be cremated at a later date.

Funeral services have been entrusted to Salinas Funeral Home in Brownsville.
