With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Marianela Herrera, a beloved daughter, mother, and friend, who departed from this world on May 11, 2026, at the age of 55. Born on March 30, 1971, Marianela spent her life in Edcouch, Texas, where she became a cherished member of her community.

Marianela's warmth and kindness were felt by all who knew her. As the devoted mother to her children, Jacklynn Herrera, Jazmine (Roberto) Silguero, Jay (Brianna) Franco, Jayke Franco, her grandchildren Trae Silguero, Raeleen Silguero, her siblings Dora Franco, and Rosario Franco, Marianela's legacy of love and strength will forever be etched in their hearts. She embraced her role as a mother with unwavering devotion, instilling in her family values of compassion, resilience, and joy. She proceeded in death by her parents, Rene Franco and Idalia Galvan.
