Maria Cristina Sanchez

Brownsville - Maria Cristina Sanchez, 73, passed away Friday, November 11, 2022 at Valley Baptist Medical Center.

Mrs. Sanchez was born September 11, 1949 in Defiance, Ohio. Daughter of Porfirio Alviar and Osvelia Garza. She is preceded in death by her husband  Armando Sanchez; her parents; brothers: Robert Alviar, Jose Alviar, Porfirio Alviar Jr., ;sisters: Rosario Serna and Maria del Refugio Ramos.

Left to cherish her memories are her children Alejandro Alviar (Cindy), Irma Linda Sanchez; brothers: Daniel Alviar, Reynaldo Alviar, Ruben Alviar, Miguel Alviar; sister: Juanita Alviar. Also surviving her are 9 grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 16, 2022, from 2:00 pm to 9:00 pm with a prayer service at 7:00 pm at Salinas Funeral Home - Chapel of the Heavens in Brownsville. As per her wishes, she will be cremated at a later date.

Funeral services have been entrusted to Salinas Funeral Home in Brownsville.
